Jim Palmquist is the Media Relations Specialist for the UNLV Division of Educational Outreach. Jim has extensive experience as a multimedia producer and online marketing. He comes to Educational Outreach from the Greenspun Media Group. Jim has a bachelor’s degree in history from Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio and a M.F.A. in film and video production from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. Jim's other interests include movies and sports.
As Web Manager for the UNLV Division of Educational Outreach, Russ Harrison is responsible for the management and development of web and multimedia projects for the division. Russ has been at UNLV since 2005 as a web specialist for the UNLV Office of the President and the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost.
Emanuel Urbina is a client services representative of the UNLV Division of Educational Outreach. He has over 14 years of experience in the customer service field. His recreational interests include music, art, and sports.
Joshua Carpenter is the Assistant Manager for the Client & Division Services unit of the UNLV Division of Educational Outreach. He has a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, a master in Social Work and a Paralegal Certificate from University of Nevada, Las Vegas. His recreational interests include being an avid sports fan and a history buff.
Maria Luisa Benicarlo is a Business & Finance Specialist in the UNLV Division of Educational Outreach (DEO). Back in 2017, she joined DEO as a student assistant in the Client & Division Services unit. Since then, she has earned a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Luisa is interested in pursuing a master’s degree in Accounting. In her free time, she likes to hike and go on road trips.
Tami Langohr is the Assistant Vice Provost of the UNLV Division of Educational Outreach (DEO). In her role, Tami oversees the Business & Finance team, Operations team and the Cannon Survey Center. She started at DEO in 2011 and has served various roles from Business Manager to Executive Director for Business & Finance during her tenure. Prior to coming to UNLV, Tami worked at the Nevada System of Higher Education - System Administration Office as an Internal Relations Student Assistant and Internal Auditor.
Rochelle Ali is the Administration Manager, responsible for managing the day-to-day activities in the office of the Vice Provost for the Division of Educational Outreach. Rochelle comes to UNLV from Johns Hopkins University, where she was the Assistant to the Director of the Disease Prevention and Control Program at the Bloomberg School of Public Health. Prior to that, Rochelle held administrative support positions at the University of Washington. She has more than twenty-six years of experience working in administration in higher educational institutions. Rochelle holds a B.A.

Joseph Miera is Vice Provost for Educational Outreach and believes in building collaborative relationships with diverse constituencies, particularly among students, staff, faculty, community members, public leaders, and government officials. Miera is nationally recognized in higher education as a leader in educational outreach/extended studies.
