Give the gift of learning with UNLV Continuing Education

Stumped over what to give a loved one? Think outside the paper-wrapped box with UNLV Continuing Education. The Spring 2013 Continuing Education Catalog is now available, and it is full of courses perfect for giving and sharing.
For a parent, friend, spouse, or partner, sign up for a course where you can enjoy quality time together. Chef Les Kincaid will lead a wide variety of cooking and wine appreciation courses. Other classes perfect for sharing quality time together include social dance.
Need an inspired gift for a creative type? UNLV Continuing Education offers a wide variety of art and music courses. The handy man or woman can take a woodworking class that is provided in partnership with Wood It Is! in North Las Vegas. Participants will learn how to safely operate essential woodworking tools and feel confident when it is time to purchase tools for their home shop.
If you know someone who is getting a new digital camera, computer, or iPad this season, consider supplementing with the training they will need to maximize the gift’s potential. We offer digital photography courses. Introduction to Macs for Windows users is perfect for those getting a sleek, new Mac. Continuing Education’s popular iPad courses are designed to quickly build confidence and proficiency in new device users.
Gift certificates for UNLV Continuing Education courses are available in any denomination by calling 702-895-3394 Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., or Friday and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. You may also purchase gift certificates in person at the UNLV Paradise Campus, which is located at 851 E.
