The Non-Profit Management Certificate program through UNLV Continuing Education is revising its curriculum and moving its classes to a new location at Las Vegas’ Historic Fifth Street School starting in January.
The UNLV Office of Online Education will work with an international community of experts in educational technology to make online learning more relevant and engaging. The Office of Online Education, a unit of the Division of Educational Outreach, has recently been accepted for membership to the New Media Consortium (NMC). NMC is an international not-for-profit consortium of learning-focused organizations dedicated to the exploration and use of new media and new technologies.
The Office of Continuing Education will be closed Nov. 22-24 in observance of Thanksgiving. The information desk will reopen Monday Nov. 26 for normal business hours.

Career development, lifelong learning, survey, and volunteer opportunities are easy to find with direct links.
What is the future of online education at UNLV? Recently, Vice Provost for Educational Outreach Peg Rees was quoted in a local news report as saying, “We’re trying to build a brand around the world to be the leader in online education. We want to be the gold standard in online education.”
