INFORMATION ABOUT:

Educational Outreach

Our mission is to provide meaningful connections, useful services, and accessible opportunities for specific community populations in attaining professional development, personal enrichment, and educational achievement.

We welcome the opportunity
To listen,
To respond,
To engage.

There are many communities within a community. . . .

Our Veterans and Military Service Members
We provide a point of contact, support, and transition services for our military and veteran service members as they enter and experience academic life at UNLV.  We strive to provide responsive academic, social, and administrative guidance.

Our Adult Senior Members
We provide classes, workshops and leadership opportunities for over 1,000 semi-retired and senior adult students, including numerous satellite locations, who want to participate in Senior Programs by enrolling in classes, attending excursions or workshops, and continually learning from one another.

Our Work Force and Adult Learners
We can develop a tailored response to meet specific inquiries about training opportunities, professional certificates, academic degree options or exploring continuing education units for specific businesses, organizations, or professional affiliates. Academic scholarships are available and consultations for adult learners.

Academic Credit Courses
Credit courses are very closely coordinated with academic departments on UNLV’s main campus.  Courses that carry academic credit involve the same academic standards and expectations but are taught outside of the traditional academic semester (15-week) term, delivered in modular/compressed format, and may include special events such as workshops, conferences or certifications.
