Elizabeth Barrie, Ph. D.Program Coordinator
Elizabeth Barrie is a project coordinator for the Public Lands Institute of the UNLV Division of Educational Outreach. Beth has extensive experience in natural resource and heritage interpretation, public outreach and qualitative research methods. She has a bachelor’s degree in Communications (with honors) from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, a Master of Science degree in Outdoor Recreation and a Ph.D. in Human Performance (leisure behavior) from Indiana University, Bloomington. Beth also works as an instructional designer in the UNLV Office of Online Education where she is assisting with degree program development. Her research focuses on interpretation in the National Park Service.
