Allison Sahl is with the Public Lands Institute in the UNLV Division of Educational Outreach. She holds three degrees in sociology -- a bachelor’s degree from Georgia Southwestern State University and a master’s and Ph.D. from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Her dissertation, defended recently, examined gender differences in unpaid household labor before, during, and after the 2007 U.S. economic recession. Allison’s research and teaching interests include sociology of family, gender, time use, life course studies, and quantitative methodology. Outside of academia, she is married with two young sons.
