National Public Lands Day: Preparing the Spring Mountains for the Fall


Volunteers will perform light trail maintenance along the more popular Spring Mountain National Recreation Area hiking trails. Work will consist of removing rocks, trash, and debris from the trail, pruning vegetation, and oiling signs. No prior experience is necessary. Please bring appropriate work clothes and water. Tools will be provided. Please bring a lunch as work may extend into the early afternoon. If you are interested in spending one last weekend up in the mountains before the fall season arrives and want to give back to the land, think about volunteering for your public lands! Audience: 16 and over. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult
