This certificate will provide Human Resource Generalists with in-depth knowledge and information regarding wage and salary.  To earn this mini certificate, you must complete four one-day seminars, and the classes must be taken sequentially.  The first two courses will be offered in the Fall, 2007; the second two courses in the Spring of 2008.  Two of these courses may be applied to the Certificate in Human Resource Management.  Bring a calculator to each class.  The four courses are:

• Fundamentals of Salary Administration for HR Generalists
• Wage and Salary Survey Analysis:  Tricks, Traps, and Tools
• Building a Salary Structure:  Down to the Nitty Gritty
• Pay for Performance:  Building the Merit Pay Matrix and Costing the Pay Program
