The Professional in Human Resources (or Senior Professional) Certificate Program provides a review of the body of knowledge for those in the field who wish to earn this prestigious designation awarded by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM.)  You must have two years of exempt-level experience (we recommend 3 to 5 years) to sit for the four-hour online exam.  The UNLV Certificate is awarded to those who satisfactorily complete the Preparation and Review course.  The national certification is awarded after the test has been passed.  Applicants sitting for the test who have completed university programs consistently have higher pass rates. 

Two sessions are now available - an evening program and a weekend program. Both are 36 contact hours. It is recommended that individuals planning to take the program attend the Orientation session.
