Microsoft Office Certificate Program

Program Overview:
In this age of information and technology, documented competence in computing can give you the edge in competitive workplace. These programs will give you theoretical and fundamental knowledge as well as hands-on training in using computer software applications. This program provide certification of your knowledge and skills in different areas and levels of the Microsoft Office family of products.

Prerequisites:
You must have a working knowledge of Windows operating system and the Internet including a basic understanding of creating, opening, saving, and printing files.

Our computer labs are equipped with Windows PC computers and all classes will be taught using these computer systems.

Although we provide the required software programs in our computer labs during instructional times, you will also need access to these software at home or at work to complete some of the exercises, assignments, and projects for these courses. You may purchase the educational versions of the software through an online website at http://www.journeyed.com. These are full versions of the software that have academic licensing agreements and may not be used for commercial purposes.

Program Requirements:
The program includes seven required courses to earn certification. You may enroll in individual courses without the intent of completing the certificate programs.

REQUIRED COURSES (7. 6 CEUs)
1. Microsoft Word - Level I (1.6 CEUs)
2. Microsoft Excel – Level I (1.0 CEU)
3. Microsoft Access - Level I (1.0 CEU)
4. Microsoft PowerPoint (0.8 CEU)
5. Microsoft Word - Level II (1.2 CEUs)
6. Microsoft Excel - Level II (1.0 CEU)
7. Microsoft Access - Level II (1.0 CEU)

* Materials included with some courses are handouts and instructor-developed curriculum.

* Some classes have required textbooks that are not part of the tuition fees.

* Refund Policy:  Cancellation of registrations must be received in writing (email is acceptable) no later than two (2) business days prior to the start date of the course in order to receive a refund. No refunds will be issued after this date.  All refunds will be minus a $10.00 administrative fee per course.

* Discount Policy:  Do not register online if you are seeking any type of discount of the registration fee. To qualify for any discount, you must call our registration desk at 702-895-3394, or register in person at our office located at 851 E. Tropicana Ave., Las Vegas, NV to verify your eligibility for any discount. No refunds will be issued if you register online and then request a discount.
