NOTE: If you are a teacher registering for a teacher education class or conference, use ICE for elementary teachers, or ICS for secondary teachers. ICG is graduate level (as are 600 and 700 courses). Clark County School District accepts 400 level classes (upper division) for salary increment and/or recertification for teachers. Each teacher, however, has specific recertification requirement needs that may be verified by the Nevada Department of Education at 486-6458. ADVICE TO NEW STUDENTS: CHECK YOUR RESIDENCY STATUS Next, go to the UNLV website at www.unlv.edu; click on the A-Z index; click on R looking for Residency for Tuition Purposes; and then use the application form. Register at least one day before a credit course begins to avoid late fees. Refunds are made according to UNLV Registrar’s regulations. After 60 percent of the class meetings have been completed, no class drop or withdrawal is allowed.
OTHER LINKS: Educational Outreach does not offer full degree programs in this department. For more information on Academic Degree Programs (Undergraduate and Graduate) including students who wish to continue their education towards a degree, please contact the Undergraduate Admissions Ofiice or Graduate College directly.
